This painting originated as a photograph of an elderly woman shopping in a Caribbean outdoor market. In a time-intensive process, which is truly a labor of love, I use as many as eight different professional photography and digital painting programs to transform the photograph into an impressionistic painting which is worthy of a very special place in your home--as a framed work of art or especially as a museum-quality canvas.

Mitchell R.Grosky is an award-winning fine arts photographer who specializes in landscape photography, as well as seascape, cityscape, and travel photography.
