These digital paintings are created from the photographs of renowned landscape and travel photographer Mitchell R. Grosky. Just this year Mr. Grosky began offering his work as digital paintings. He uses a variety of techniques and programs to simulate paintings in oil and watercolor. Mr. Grosky is an artist who has always been inspired by beauty--whether that beauty is the work of Nature or Humanity. Using his own photographs, he creates stylized and impressionistic interpretations of landscapes, seascapes, cityscapes, flowers, and animals. He utilizes vibrant colors, bold shapes, interesting textures, and creative brush strokes in his work.
